Margie Moreno is the Vice President, Programming, of NBC UNIVERSO, the modern general entertainment channel for Latinos. In her role she oversees all programming, including current programming and development. Moreno has over 15 years of television experience, having served as both a producer and network executive. Prior to NBC UNIVERSO, Moreno was Head of Development for Imagina US/ Promofilm US, the Director of Original Programming at TBS Superstation, and also worked Mandalay Entertainment where she helped create Mandalay Television. In these roles, she specialized in adapting international television formats (scripted and reality) for U.S. broadcast and cable markets, as well as produced pilots and original series for networks such as NBC, Discovery, MTV, ABC, and Lifetime, among others.

Television programs she has been involved with include; "Dean Koontz’s: Intensity," the Emmy nominated cable TV movies "Hidden In America" (Showtime) and "Gia" (HBO). Moreno currently serves as Board Chair of NALIP and was previously on the board of the Television Academy Executive Peer Group. She is a member of the Producers Guild of America and of Step Up Women’s Network, where she was given a Volunteer of the Year Award in 2010.
